Sketchbook was created with the intention of making beautiful, unique and quality craft based objects that are functional Art pieces.

The current collection focuses on bags. The inspiration derives from the workbags carried by traditional women farmers. These were bags made by women and carried by women. Traditionally they were used to hold all her essentials, from her needlepoint to her gardening utensils.

With this inspiration, bags were created with a modern approach, but with the same utilitarian ideal as the women farmers had. This ideal is that each bag can function for nearly every part of the day as well as withstand the test of time through the use of quality construction techniques and materials.

Sketchbook lovingly constructs each individual piece by hand with the intention of revitalizing and emphasizing the importance of the handmade.

All of the materials used are natural wool, cotton and leather.
